Finally got some stuff to show. First up is another Mage Knight figure. I did this one for my nephew long ago and got it from him in a big load he was getting rid of.
[/img]
Next up is one of the few Heroclix customs I've attempted. I was just never satisfied with any of the Hulks they made. This one came from a pen with a light up figure on the end. A bit of paint later and voila.
[/img]
Now into the DCDs. Batwoman does NOT have auburn hair...it's red. If somebody had tell this "Brewer" person that I wouldn't have had to paint mines red.
[/img]
Now this next one I had to modify at the request of a few people who reminded me of the true color of Sodam Yat's symbol. But because it's supposed to glow with energy I decided that white paint wasn't enough...so I used glow-in-the-dark paint instead.
[/img]
[/img]
This one is Droxelle of sector 3411. She was an IC Wondergirl figure.
[/img]
[/img]
And last but not least is Hannu of sector 2. He was a Fantastic Four movie Stomp and Clobber Thing. There is a lot of work in him. I removed the head and set it further back and up and then molded JB Weld around the figure. I'm quite proud of him if it's cool to say so.

These dolls (Sun Spell and Moon Mystic) are probably the prize of my collections. The story behind them is a long one so I will spare you that but I will say that the boxed ones cost $125 a piece.
[/img]
And last but not least...what started it all. My comics.
[/img]
Oh and this poster is on the outside of my bedroom door.
[/img]
This isn't everything I have. I also have all but a handful of every Image figure from back in the day, all but maybe 20 of the Marvel Toybiz figures and all kinds of misc. stuff. I just don't have the room to display them so there is, sadly, no way to photo 'em.

Whoo-hoo!!!
I won the Earth-Doosh con!!! Thanks to everyone who voted for me and to my main man Biz for holding the whole darn thing! Here's my winning entry with WIPs and recipe
and here's her story
On Earth-Doosh both Wonder Woman and Zatanna Zatara have nearly the same origins and lives that thier counterparts on Earth-1 have. The divergence occurs during an attempt by the Ultra-Humanite to permanently replace his mind in the body of Superman. Using super-science and mystical methods the villian created a device that he deemed the only weapon necessary for domination of the world and indeed it would have been but for the efforts of Wonder Woman and Zatanna. They were able to free a near comatose Superman and destroy the device but not until after they were themselves caught in a stray blast...switching thier minds.
During the next few weeks every outlet available to the two was exhausted with no results. No spell, no artifact, no power, nothing would reverse thier condition. Realizing this, however reluctantly, they decided to carry on as best they could with this new situation. Wonder Woman began to train Zatanna in how to properly utilize her new found strength in the ways of combat and in turn, Zatanna tutored Wonder Woman in the ways of sorcery and the occult. Overtime the two became inseperable and eventually a relationship developed between the two that lasted until Wonder Woman's death.
An invasion by the forces of Apokolps brought Earth-doosh to the brink of destruction and a desperate plan was hatched by the Justice League and the Justice Society. A small group would infiltrate Darksieds stronghold and deactivate key functions of the tyrant's war machine allowing a larger group along with the combined forces of the Earth's armies to launch a full-scale attack. Once on the surface of Apokolips the force split into teams of three placing Wonder Woman, Zatanna and Batman with the responsibility of shutting down the central defense grid of the planet. Opposition was encountered in the form of Kalibakk and Desaad and in the course of the battle the latter drew down on a distracted Zatanna and prepared to lay a killing blow. Wonder Woman leaped in front of the blast, forgetting for that fateful moment that she wasn't her former self. The wound was fatal. Zatanna, grief stricken, attacked Desaad. Once her hands were upon him he was quickly and viciously torn in two by the distraught Zatanna. She would still find the strength to fulfill the mission and further aid in the victory of the costly war.
Upon her return Zatanna laid to rest Diana Prince, the former and greatest Wonder Woman, her friend and her lover. Zatanna also retired Diana's uniform and adopted a new identity. Armed with the Staff of Osiris, which allows her to once again wield the magic that she once used with just a few backwards words, and the chains of Prometheus, giving thier wielder near immortality, she stands forever more as...Zatanna Zatarra, the Wonder Woman.
And now the recipe...

Now that we're back and running, here's my latest. Green Lantern Pelle of sector...I don't know unfortunately. If anyone could tell me that would be great.
I decided to include reference pics with this one and with (future ones) since I've read that a few of you appreciate that. I aim to please so I shall start now.
She's a simple recipe. Just a WWE Torrie Wilson with some random hair extensions. I'm not exactly happy with the hair...but I got to a point where I had to stop fucking with it.
Also, I made a couple of creative choices with the color scheme. It seems currently that the Green Lanterns have a simple scheme of white, black and one shade of green and I wanted to reflect this in Pelle. So, using the first pic as reference, I made the light green parts white and the dark green parts black. It really makes her pop when she's up on my shelf with all the others. Your thoughts?

And finally...I wanted to back up my interview with Pally just in case the Doosh doesn't return next time.
Hi there, everyone! Well, it's that time again. We're going to get to meet another of our Doosh brothers... and for many of you, this will actually be the first you've gotten to learn about him, as he's one of our newer members. So settle in, and we'll have a little conversation with Carbonor!
__________________________
Palinore - Welcome to "Where Everybody Knows Your Name" here at Pally's Sports Pub and Music Hall, Carbonor! Nice to have you here.
Carbonor - Indeed it's nice to be here. I've been meaning to stop by for a while now but you know how things can get.
Pally - The waitress can get you an appetizer and something from the bar if you like.
Carb - Coolness. I'll have a shot glass, a bottle of Jager, a Mello Yeloo chaser and an ash-tray please. You can smoke in here I'm assuming and hoping? I mean, the day one can't smoke in a bar is a day I don't want to see. *lights cigarette*
Pally - Well, I guess... In Ohio, we banned smoking in pubic buildings, including bars, last year. But sure... you can smoke in the Pub. Why don't you tell everyone a little bit about yourself while you're waiting for your order to arrive?
Carb - Well *inhales* my real name is Nathan James Hyde (as in Dr. Jekyl and Mr....) and I 'll just start from then beginning. Firstly, I am not man of woman born. I was born by caesarean much like Macduff, the man who killed Macbeth. My Mom had to take fertility drugs and go through the whole rig-a-ma-roo of scheduling the right time and what not and at the same time that she was doing this, my Dad (he told me later in life) was having a series of rather intense acid flashbacks. So before I was even in the womb I was different than most. *exhales*
Thank ya' miss. I like your girls' uniforms Pally. Not quite as good as where I work but not bad at all. *pours and takes shot followed by chaser. inhales*
Where was I *exhales*...by six months I was walking. By a year I was carrying on conversations with people. By pre-school I had taught myself how to read and write cursive and later print (I thought cursive looked cooler). By kindergarten I was drinking coffee, playing dominoes and reading the U.S.A. Today (and worrying about it) with the old women in my neighborhood. Once in school I was an excellent student. Straight A's and everyone thought I was gonna' be something great when I grew up. Then in third grade my parents got divorced and my Papaw (my Dad's Dad) died. *inhales* So at the tender age of 9 I was taught the two most basic principles of life...*exhales* love doesn't last and everything dies. At 11 I accepted Jesus as my Saviour and still have a strong relationship with him now but it's our relationship not the relationship that a bunch of naive and brain-dead dumbasses, trapped in a web of thier own design, decided it should be. And religion in my opinion, is just that...a man made concept meant to place control over that witch man has no control over. I don't intend to preach but I can't help it. I was called to preach but ignored it. *inhales and exhales* 17 was when I met and fell in love with a girl who was everything that I never knew I wanted. I gave her all that was good within me, willed into a little pretty purple stone. I gave her this to replace a stone she had worn in a charm necklace but had lost. Each stood for something..health, happiness and heart. She had lost heart...so I gave her mine. My intent was that she would always have me with her that way. During this time my Dad thought I was losing it so he sent me to a psychologist. He only ever told me one thing that I found useful. He said "Nathan. You're like a crock pot. You keep putting stuff in and it keeps getting hotter and hotter and one day...you're gonna' explode." I've seen ghosts, my Great-Grandmother is my guardian angel and I'm a bit precognative. I'm a writer (poetry, lyrics, books planned but have never been happy with the ways I've started them), I draw, sculpt, paint, do photography, sing...pretty much everything but dance and play an instrument. My Mom's unstable, my older (by 7 years) sister's crazy and I haven't spoken to my Dad or stepmonster in going on 9 years. I've smoked a lot of weed (still do) and eaten a lot of acid in my time and am not ashamed of either of those facts. I consider it self medication. The weed keeps me from going on a clock tower rampage when the world pisses me off.
Damn I got on a roll there. *puts out cigarette*
All that stuff is essential though to understanding the wonder and the glory that is Nathan.
Pally - Hmmm... Taking lessons from Max, were you? *chuckles* I don't recognize your screen name from anything I'm familiar with. Where does it come from, and how did you settle on it? Do you think that it particularly reflects anything in your personality that we should be aware of?
Carb - This is a good story. Legend is closer to it though. In high school I was introduced to these two guys by my longest friend at the time (since kindergarten). He was moved a grade ahead of me in 4th grade and met these two first. When we met we were instantly a group. We were a bunch of comic, sci-fi, fantasy, video game, horror, Stephen King, wrestling, and toy loving guys. We called ourselves the 4 Horsemen after both the wrestling stable and the Apocalypse ones, and determined who each of us represented (I'm Barry Windham and Pestilence) An elite crew we were (and partly still are) and like most every fans, we had our debates and discussions over powers and what the actualities of said powers would be...which ones we would have and why. One day the figurehead of our grooup decided to bestow each of us with our cosmic name. Mine is Carbonor the Woanderer...both with the o and the a because I wonder and wander. To this day I use one of the two for all my screen names and still use CTW for all video games. I've gone by many names over the years...Duckie, Fall Guy, Morphy, Longhair, Will (short for William Shakespeare due to an unfortunate haircut), The Game Wizard, Naffey (what my nephew called me before he could pronounce Nathan), Nathaniel Howlingbird (my indian name), Satan's Nephew, Nate-Dog, Jeremiah, Pablo, Ballzak Johnson, but none of them feel as right as Carbonor the Woanderer. Not even my real name. *lights cigarette*
Pally - You're pretty new to the Doosh. How did you find us?
Carb - I had been a fan of Lars for some time *inhales and exhales* and when I started doing custom DCD's I contacted him and asked if he knew of any place to post pics of them. I had never posted on a forum before because I never cared about anything enough to do so, so I had no idea where to begin. He pointed me here and so I am here.
Pally - What was it about the place that got you to stay? Can you compare the Doosh to any other board you've posted at?
Carb - This place is fucking awesome! It's a community in the truest since of the word. Everyone helps each other out not for what it might benefit them but just to help out. It's incredible how supportive everyone is as well. Seriously...everyone here is just awesome.
Pally - I'm glad you're feeling that way. Heck, it's part of the reason I decided to take up this interview thing! Are you more of a toy guy or a comics guy? What are you having the most fun collecting these days?
Carb - Well *inhales and exhales* without comics thier wouldn't be the toys really so they'll always be my first love but at the moment I'm loving the toys. I just wish they could do a little better with the selection and the scale. But those are eveyone's gripes. *takes shot and chaser*
Pally - You're a customizer, too!
Carb - Indeed!
Pally - Have you been doing that for very long? How did you get started? Are there any good stories you'd like to share about time spent sitting at your work bench?
Carb - I got started mix and matching G.I.Joe weapons and backpacks like I'm sure a lot of people did. Then I eventually started Krazy-Gluing different cool looking bits of metal of plastic to them to simulate power swords and the like. My first paint work was turning my Super Powers figures into the Silverhawks (don't worry I replaced them). I moved to minatures after that and once the Marvel Toybiz line started I did a handful of them (don't have any pics of the early early ones because I've yet to dig them out. Perhaps one day.) *inhales and exhales* Likewise I did a handful of BTAS and STAS figures. I never thought I would do any DCD's because of thier price and my doubts in my skill level but then one of the friends mentioned before decided to go high-end with his collection and sold me his 100 and some odd DCD's for dirt cheap. I never would have had the nuts to do them if not for him.
Pally - From what you've told me, you're really a DC guy more than anything.
Carb - All the friggin' way baby! I buy every title every month. No joke or exaggeration.
Pally - What made the DC Universe more appealing to you than the Marvel Universe? Has it always been that way for you, or is it something that developed over time?
Carb - *inhales and exhales* The two are just so different. It's like that episode of the Simpson's where the Comic book guy gets engaged to Bart's teacher. She tries to break it off at the alter by saying something along the lines of "We're just two different people." then he says " I have no idea what you mean." She then says "I'm DC and you're Marvel." and to which he replies "I know exactly what you mean." I've gone back and forth...started out a DC fan then in my teenage years I found Marvel more appealing as Marvel is simply more appealing to a younger audience. Then I got sick of both and went the Image and indy route for a good while. I still support the smaller companies...Dynamite, IDW, DDP, Top Cow, Dark Horse...etc but the only Marvel books I buy aren't even really Marvel books (Anita Blake and The Dark Tower books. I fucking LOVE the Dark Tower series...novels and comics). Personally I sum up the eternal debate like this...DC puts reality into thier universe while Marvel puts thier universe into reality. I don't want to see a world where heroes are hunted by Homeland Security. I don't want to refer to Super Villains as Weapons of Mass Destruction. I want the world where citizens build museums to honor thier heroes...where a costumed individual flying past your window is a totally normal thing.
Man...I hate it when I let a cigarette burn out. *lights another*
Pally - I understand that you're a big fan of the TV show "Heroes." How excited are you for the 3rd season to get underway this fall?
Carb - Pally, I can't tell you how much I've missed that fucking show man. I mean...is Nikki dead? Who shot Nathan? (please don't let it have been Noah even though I know it was) Is Sylar gonna' get his powers back? Will somebody bitch slap Mohinder? *crossing my fingers* Will someone dig up Adam? I Don't Know! But I Want Too!
Pally - Was Season 2 as much of a let down for you as it was for a lot of people?
Carb - Only in the fact that it was far to short. Other than that I loved it. *inhales and exhales*
Pally - I still liked it, but not nearly as much as Season 1. While I'm thinking about it, are you buying the figures for "Heroes," too?
Carb - Maybe for bases but not just to have. They just aren't visually dynamic enough for me. I like uniforms on my action figures.
Pally - Let's jump from the small screen to the big screen...
Carb - Watch me jump. *pantamimes a little jump*
Pally - (I may have to re-think this whole drinking during the interview thing...)
How has the summer movie season been so far, in your estimation? Any favorites?
Carb - Iron Man was fantastic. The Incredible Hulk was...well...incredible. *inhales and exhales* I was most pleased with the fact that they didn't totally ret-con the first movie which I was really hopeing for. I know I'm probably the only person who actually enjoyed the first one. Yes it was a bit long but other than that it was awesome. The Hulk himself looked great and even though it was an unnecessary tool to demonstrate that he was getting stronger as he got angrier, I liked the fact that he kept growing. So if you really want to you can connect the two without making your ears bleed.
Pally - What are you still looking forward to?
Carb - Hellboy 2 is gonna' be great. Looking forward to the X-files. I shouldn't even have to say that I'm totally stoked about the Dark Knight. *inhales and exhales* And can somebody tell me how they made a new Punisher movie without any info coming out. I've heard jack-shit about that movie and it's coming out in December. What the fuck?
Pally - That does seem a little strange. Now, most people will go out to eat either before or after they go to a movie. You were telling me a little about your job as a cook, and I'm positive that this is something a lot of folks here are going to want to hear about. Would you be so kind as to share something about that? Got any particularly good stories to tell about anything on the job?
Carb - Where to begin...I work at Hooters. Yes. That's right. Hooters. I swear to God, everytime I turn around there is an outstanding ass in my face. *stares into space for a moment*
It's horrible...it's just horrible.
Was that believable?
Didn't think so. lol Seriously though, I'm quite happy there. The ratio is not bad either. There's like 60 girls to the maybe a dozen or so cooks. Thems good odds. But after my last job anything would be a nice change. Formerly I worked at a metal institution. I've wrestled more crazy people than a person ought to ever have to. I woould much rather wrestle Hooters girls. Oh and I didn't even mention that after 2 months they are already promoting me to shift leader. Hells yeah says I. *takes shot and chaser, inhales ad exhales then puts out cigarette*
Pally - We're in the Sports Pub, of course...
Carb - So says the sign.
Pally - Yes, well... You mentioned to me privately that you are a longtime Cleveland Indians fan, due to your enjoyment of the movie "Major League" from quite some time ago. I really liked that movie, too!
Carb - How can you not? When Tom Berringer says "Let's win the whole fucking thing." or Bob Eueker says " The Indians win it! The Indians win it! Oh my God! The Indians win it!" Puts a lump in my throat even now.
Pally - But I'm from near Cleveland... you aren't, though, are you?
Carb - No. I'm fromTennessee. Home of the Big Orange Vols. I honestly coudn't care less. It's not humanly possible. For real...I've had it tested. *lights cigarette*
Pally - Is it more difficult to be a Tribe fan when you're not from the area?
Carb - Oh certainly. If you're born here you're expected to sell your soul to the goddamn Vols. Obligated from birth to worship at the feet of all things Tennessee. No thanks. I'm not big on orange.
Pally - Ok, back to some questions everyone can relate to... You know I love the super powers question, so here it comes!
Carb - I've been waiting for this one! *inhales and exhales*
Pally - If you could have 1 (just 1) super power, what would it be, and how would you use it? Would you be a hero or a villain?
Carb - I used to cheat and say "I want to be Superman" but not anymore. As I'm sure most everyone knows Pally, I'm quite the Green Lantern fan and I've always wondered if my willpower could make a ring work. Then they made the Sinestro Corps and I knew I couldn't make one of those work. Along came issue #28 of the Green Lantern Corps and I read the words "Laira of sector 112. You have great rage in your heart." and at once I was overjoyed and saddened because I knew I was a Red Lantern. That being said my official answer is...I would have the power of the Hulk. If my strength was determined solely by the limits of my anger I could split the world in two.
Pally - I'm now officially afraid of you!
What about a non-super power? What skill that you don't currently have would you like to have? Would that be for a career or for fun?
Carb - I would really like to be computer literate. Sure I can turn mine on, work my folders and surf the net but for all I know there's a little magic elf inside my tower that magically does all this shit. He's probably s cousin of the one in my refridgerator that turns the light out when I shut the door.
Pally - You've gotten to know a lot of the folks here through these interviews, and from your various online conversations. You've been given a ticket to come to wherever we decide to hold our Doosh Convention, and you step out of the limo (hey, why not?) at the front door of our little convention center. Who's the first person you're looking for when you get in? Are you buying them a beer, or are they buying for you?
Carb - This one is easy. *inhales and exhales* I would hit-up my LOD brothers first...Biz and Talon. I'm counting them as one person because I have a feeling they would already be hanging together anyway. And I'm buying boys! All hail LEGION! *takes shot*
Pally - Say somebody in the restaurant industry walks into Hooters and says he wants to hire you away to be the master chef at his new comic-themed restaurant, and despite the fact that the new blonde named Tiffany has been making eyes at you all week...
Carb - Don't I wish. *inhales*
Pally - ...you go ahead and take the job. What is the first comic-related item that you create to put on the menu?
Carb - *exhales* Green Lantern Eggs and Ham!
Pally - I like it! So do you share your hobby interests with your friends and family?
Carb - Yes, they know of my curse.
Pally - What about dates?
Carb - Those are what again?
Oh yeah. I remember now.
Pally - How does that work out? Do you get the "ewww, geek!" reaction, or are you noticing that people are becoming more accepting of this stuff these days?
Carb - I'm often surprised at how readily my guy friends react to it all. So in guys I think it's becoming more accepted. Girls, I tend to think, consider it something they have to compete with. It's a great Litmus test really to get a feel for whether or not the girl is worth my time because at 33 it is waaaaaaaaay to late for me to change. It also is all part of the wonder and the glory that is Nathan. One day I'll find that one woman that understands or at the very least, respects that and maybe even loves me for it. *inhales and exhales*
Pally - Well, we seem to be out of time already.
Carb - No way!
That went fast!
Too fast! Are you sure your clocks are right?
Pally - Do you have any last thoughts before we turn the sound back up on the game?
Carb - Indeed. Thank you Pally for this opportunity. I'm sorry if I got longwinded but I figured "When is anyone ever gonna' want to interview me again?" I would like to leave eveyone with a few words that mean the world to me and remind me everyday to stand my ground and be true to myself no matter what tries to bring me down. Some of you out there might recognize them and understand thier wisdom already.
"Burn the land, boil the sea...but you can't take the sky from me."
Keep flyin' guys. Keep flyin'. *inhales, exhales and walks out the door*
Pally - A "Firefly" reference to end on... I'll take that any day. Take it easy, man!

I guess Carbonor had to get back to those Hooters gals... but I hope you all will stick around, have a few more drinks, and let us know what you thought of the interview!
